Carnival Triumph to Sail Seasonal Eastern Caribbean Itinerary

Carnival Cruise LinesCarnival Cruise Lines’ 2,758-passenger Carnival Triumph will operate a unique new four-port seven-day “Exotic Eastern Caribbean” itinerary from Miami beginning April 2007 that features a perfect combination of diverse and captivating ports of call.Stops on the itinerary include Half Moon Cay, a stunning Bahamian private island; San Juan, Puerto Rico, known for its rich cultural heritage and fascinating historical sites; St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., whose postcard perfect beaches, gorgeous mountain terrain and endless shopping make it a venerable favorite; and Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, the Caribbean’s newest port of call, offering world-renowned snorkeling, diving and beaches.

The Carnival Triumph features a wide variety of amenities, including a 15,000-square-foot spa, a jogging track, full casino gambling, and 18 themed lounges and bars with dramatic interiors inspired by the world’s great cities. Dining options include twin two-level restaurants offering extensive menus and wine lists and a casual poolside eatery featuring 24-hour pizza and ice cream/frozen yogurt.

The ship also features cellular phone service, an Internet café, and wireless access in virtually all public rooms and areas.

Carnival Triumph offers a wide variety of spacious accommodations, including spectacular suites and a wide selection of staterooms offering dramatic ocean views from private balconies – ideal for scenic cruising. All accommodations feature the new “Carnival Comfort Bed” sleep system featuring plush mattresses, luxurious duvets, and high quality pillows and linens.

All Carnival ships feature the line’s top-rated Camp Carnival children’s program, as well as “Club O2,” created in partnership with Coca-Cola, which offers specialized activities and facilities for teens.

Carnival is the largest and most popular cruise line in the world, with 21 “Fun Ships” operating voyages ranging from three to 16 days in length to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, New England, Canada, Bermuda and Europe.

The line currently has three new ships on order – the 110,000-ton Carnival Freedom, scheduled for delivery in March 2007, the 112,000-ton Carnival Splendor slated to enter service in spring 2008, and an as-yet-unnamed 130,000-ton SuperLiner – to be the largest “Fun Ship” ever constructed – set to debut in fall 2009.
