Celebration Repairs Continue

Cruise Community (registration required) is reporting that additional time in drydock will be needed to repair the damage to Celebration which occured when the ship touched bottom while docking in Nassau on August 15.

As a result the ship will not return to service in Jacksonville tomorrow as planned.  Insead Celbration will depart on Monday for a modified 3 day cruise headed to Freeport.  Passengers eleting to sail on this shortened voyage will receive a 50% refund and a 50% discount towards a future cruise.  Passengers who cancel can choose either a refund or a future cruise credit.
